We are looking for an Sales Associate / Assistant Framer

The ideal candidate is a photography / art / design student looking for a weekend position

This is a 2-3 days position 

Will train , duties to include :

Sales and design frames with customers as needed. Guide clients through design process of choosing a frame.

Assist head framer :Put backing wire on all finished frames.
Wrap work orders to be ready to be picked up and mark off in the computer.
Maintain website orders daily cut glass backing and fit in frame. Mark off on shopify
Open finished artwork for clients and take payment upon pick up.
Assist head framer with glass and backing prep work.
Follow daily procedures for opening and closing store.
Maintain daily recycling levels at store.
Maintain store cleanliness and organize as needed .

this is a part-time or a part-time position and is flexible For the right candidate.

Attention to details and an eye for design and colour is extremely important.

This is an opportunity to learn how to custom picture frame and how to Handle different types of framing from photography to canvas stretching.

Must have retail / service experience

Good customer service and people skills.

We will train for the framing part but you must be crafty and handy :-)

Preference will be given to candidates that have worked in a framing shop before !
